Matt Caparas


Matt is a highly dedicated kinesiologist with a passion for optimizing human performance and well-being. With a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from The University of British Colombia, he is equipped with a solid foundation in coaching, biomechanics, and exercise prescription. Growing up, Matt played a variety of sports including Soccer, Basketball, Track and Field, Kickboxing and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. In his spare time, Matt likes to lift weights as well train and occasionally compete in kickboxing and grappling.

Matt has pursued further professional development through certifications namely the Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) for athletic training and British Colombia Associates of Kinesiologists (BCAK) for rehabilitation. Matt also continuously stay abreast of the latest research through courses and seminars to ensure his knowledge and skills are up to date and in line with best practices.

Through his experience working in Personal training, Strength and Conditioning, and now Rehabilitation, Matt has successfully supported diverse populations, including athletes, individuals with chronic conditions, and those seeking general fitness improvements. Matt is committed to helping individuals of all ages and abilities achieve their functional health and fitness goals through evidence based practices, enabling his clients to be as able bodied as possible.
